The SS-16HC is a Heavy Duty High-Security Level 6 P-7 Paper Shredder for office use. It has been evaluated by National Security Agency / Central Security Service and meets the requirements set by the NSA/CSS for the destruction of paper. NSA/CSS performance testing has evaluated the SS-16HC ability to reduce paper documents to shards measuring 1 millimeter by 5 millimeters, or less. NSA/CSS testing protocol includes the timed destruction of conventional office copy paper (letter size, 20-lb weight, uncoated) and has classified the SS-16HC as High Volume at greater than 10 Reams per Hour. Ideal for DOD and Government top secret and classified shredding, the SS-16HC has an extra wide 16“ Feed Opening and a large 53 Gallon Waste Bin. It includes an Automatic Oiler which oils the cutting blades for optimal performance. The solid steel cutters are heat treated and individually ground for longevity and a powerful and efficient AC geared continuous duty motor with heavy duty steel gears makes for high performance and minimal noise. The All Metal Drive System uses no internal nylon or plastic gears as is common in lower quality shredders. Thermal Overload Protection and a Safety Circuit Breaker ensure safe operation and an automatic stand-by mode enhances energy efficiency. This high-security micro cut paper shredder also features Auto Start/Stop operation, Door Safety and Bag Full sensors, an Auto Reverse anti-jamming control and an LED Control Panel with load indicator. Housed in an All-Steel cabinet on casters and includes Heavy Duty Waste Bin. TAA Compliant.

- Freight (LTL): Larger office and industrial shredders ship via motor freight.
- Note: Standard freight delivery is dock-to-dock. If your facility does not have a loading dock, please see specialized services below.
2. Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories
We frequently ship our equipment to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Because these locations require ocean or air transit, they fall outside of standard domestic rates.
