Since many of our shredders exceed 200 lbs, additional services may be required to ensure a safe delivery.

  • Liftgate Service: Required if your delivery location does not have a loading dock and the equipment must be lowered to the ground.
  • Inside Delivery: Moves the palletized equipment inside the first dry threshold of your building, such as a garage or lobby.

Product FAQs

Questions About EL-100 Erasure Labels

Product-specific answers based on this shredder’s description, specifications, and intended use case.

What are EL-100 degaussing erasure labels used for?

The EL-100 is designed as a degaussing erasure labels. EL-100 erasure labels are used to identify magnetic media after it has gone through an erasure or degaussing workflow. They support clear handling and recordkeeping; the label itself does not perform or certify the erasure.

When should an erasure label be applied after media degaussing?

Use EL-100 labels with the organization’s magnetic-media sanitization process after the actual erasure step is complete. They are a documentation accessory, so they should follow the same chain-of-custody procedure used for the media and degausser.

What information should be recorded on EL-100 media erasure labels?

Record the details your audit process requires, such as the media identifier, erasure date, operator, equipment or process used, and any verification reference. The goal is to make the sanitized-media status clear without relying on memory or loose notes.

How do erasure labels support a secure data sanitization workflow?

Keep the labels clean, dry, and available at the sanitization station so they can be applied as part of the same controlled workflow. Use the package quantity shown on the product or order record when planning replenishment.

Who should use EL-100 labels for degaussed media tracking?

EL-100 labels are most useful for IT, security, records, and compliance teams that need a visible link between sanitized media and the organization’s audit or chain-of-custody record.
